Congratulations, Haven High senior Jaron Caffrey, son of Paul and Tammy Caffrey. He has been selected to serve in the United States Senate Youth Program in 2018. USSYP is an extremely competitive program for students who have proven dedication and talent for public service and leadership positions in their home state. Two delegates are selected from each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia following a rigorous political examination and interview process. USSYP delegates are among the most academically high-achieving students in the nation and demonstrate exceptional potential for futures in government. Jaron will be awarded $10,000 for his undergraduate education and an all-expenses paid, week-long trip to Washington, D.C., where he will meet with government officials. Awesome job Jaron! Go Cats!
