Seventh Gating Criteria Released for Reno County Schools

USD 312 Haven has received its seventh guidance from the Reno County Health Department related to "Gating Criteria". This information is now considered by building and the learning model will be determined each week. Haven Middle and Haven High are now being considered one building due to shared staff, students, and facilities.

The district’s gating committee has determined the following colors and learning models to begin next week:
Haven Grade School- Orange (In-Person). This means continuing with our current learning model. We will be considering Micro-cohort classrooms in the future.
Haven Middle/High School- Orange (Hybrid). This means that students will continue in-person by the school provided schedule but only about half will attend each day so that our numbers are smaller and spacing can be increased.
Yoder Charter School- Orange (Micro-cohort Classrooms). This means that grades 5-8 will continue to meet at Journey Mennonite Church. Grades K-4 will continue to meet at YCS.

Fourth Gating Criteria Released for Reno County Schools

USD 312 Haven has received its fourth guidance from the Reno County Health Department related to "Gating Criteria". This criteria uses Reno County data to help guide and direct schools related to which learning plan will be used for the following week.

Starting Monday, October 5th, we will be in the ORANGE zone.

As for our learning platform, we will make an adjustment and remain in an IN-PERSON environment for all grade levels. This is largely due to the fact that there are currently no positive cases in our buildings for students and staff.

We will continue to send notification each Friday outlining the following weeks learning plan. Please continue to follow all health guidelines being provided by the Reno County Health Department.
