We are excited to recognize Beth Blubaugh as the 2026 USD 312 Employee of the Year. Beth was also selected as our Third Quarter Impact Award winner, making this a well-deserved recognition of the impact she has on our students, staff, and families.
Beth serves as our middle school counselor and mental health liaison, helping connect students and families with the support and resources they need. While those roles are important, what really sets Beth apart is the way she does her work.
Beth is approachable, relatable, and easy to talk to. Her genuine care for people is evident in the relationships she builds with students, families, and staff. She has a way of making people feel comfortable, heard, and supported, especially when they may be going through a difficult time.
Beth's work often happens behind the scenes, but her impact is felt throughout our district. She is someone our staff can turn to for advice, collaboration, and support, and she is always willing to step in and help wherever she is needed.
We are fortunate to have Beth as part of the USD 312 team. Her recognition as our Third Quarter Impact Award winner and now as the 2026 USD 312 Employee of the Year is a great reflection of the difference she makes every day.

USD 312 has successfully completed the requirements to earn the status of Accredited in the Kansas Education System Accreditation (KESA)!
This accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, staff, families, and community to continuous improvement and providing the best educational opportunities possible for our Wildcats.

We are still planning to move forward with Wildcat Roundup as scheduled tonight! The school building will be open from 5:00–6:00 PM, with activities on the playground continuing until 7:00 PM.
With the forecasted heat, we encourage families to plan accordingly, stay hydrated, and take breaks as needed throughout the evening.

Join us 6 - 7 PM at HMS/HHS to meet your teacher, drop off supplies, and enjoy food trucks and vendors! Fall sports parent meeting to follow, 7 - 8 PM.
At HGS from 5 - 6 PM, the building will be open for students to meet their teacher and drop off supplies. From 5 - 7 PM, there will be food trucks, a bounce house, and vendors on the playground!

We are excited to welcome our students back into the building soon! Our staff has been working hard to prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, and we can’t wait to see our hallways and classrooms filled with students again.
Attached is my Back-to-School Letter with some important information about the year ahead. Please take a few minutes to read through it as we prepare for a great year together.
We also hope you’ll join us for our Wildcat Roundup Back-to-School Night on Friday, August 14th at 5:00 PM. We encourage all families to stop by to meet their teacher and school staff, drop off school supplies, and spend some time together as a school community. We’ll have food trucks, music, a bouncy house, a dunk tank, and more fun on the playground!
A reminder that our first day of school is Tuesday, August 18th. We are looking forward to a great start!
Moving forward, families can expect a weekly callout from me each Sunday at 5:00 PM with important information, upcoming events, and reminders for the week ahead. We know there is a lot to keep track of throughout the school year, and our goal is to keep you informed and connected.
