USD 312 Haven Schools

Attention all parents/guardians of 7-12 grade student athletes:

Mandatory Concussion Training will be held on the following dates. Please have your student athlete select ONE of these upcoming dates to attend in the Haven High School Library.

Tuesday, August 12th 1:00pm-2:00pm
Wednesday, August 13th 1:00pm-2:00pm
Friday, August 15th 1:00-2:00pm

OPTIONAL but strongly encouraged mobile baseline concussion testing will also be held these dates. Student athletes will be asked to download the Sway Medical app onto their own personal cell phone device. (Students will have access to an IPad at school if needed.) Please speak with your student athlete about downloading this app successfully on their device prior to attending.

USD 312 is needing bus drivers for the upcoming school year! Training is available for those wanting to get a CDL, and regular route drivers are benefit eligible!

During the enrollment process, please make sure to click the link on the free and reduced lunch application form. You will need to input household and income information. Filling out this form is the only way to potentially qualify your student(s) for free or reduced meals.

Online enrollment is now open for all returning students!

If you do not have a Powerschool account, please contact the District Office or email Brad Russell (brussell@havenschools.com). Brad is also the best point of contact for any questions that arise during the enrollment process.

If you prefer to enroll in person, our buildings will be open July 31st (11-7) and August 1st (8-12).

The 2025-26 school year is just around the corner, and there some important dates coming up.

More progress has been made on the FACS room!

✔️ The HMS gym bleacher project is complete!

Progress report : our FACS room remodel is still underway! All demolition is complete and framing is being completed now.

The HMS/auxiliary gym is also getting a much needed update, new paint and bleachers! We appreciate our maintenance crew who took out the old bleachers and painted the gym.

🛠️ Construction on the FACS room remodel has begun! We are so excited for this much needed update, and can't wait to see what our students can accomplish in this upgraded space!

Last night, the Board of Education presented certificates of appreciation to some of our staff and members of the community. The recipients were : Ollie Lane (Haven Grade) - Ollie took 3rd place at the HGS spelling bee; sending her to the Reno County Spelling Bee, where she took 1st. Then she finished 6th in the state spelling bee! What a great representation of our schools! Amber Brawner (Haven Middle) - For the past few years, Amber has led/co-led HMS M.O.M.S. group, and helped organize events such as Lattes with Loved Ones, student Christmas Parties, and more! These events boost the morale of students and staff. Ashlie Rogers (Little Learners) - While another director was out on medical leave, Ashlie stepped in to take on new tasks. She recently moved in to the director role full time, and has brought with her fresh ideas to improve the program! Jessica Collier, Patricia Cunningham, Kathy Cooper, Jordan Steeby (Haven High) - The food service staff at HHS are dedicated to providing amazing meals to our students and staff everyday! They take input from students and staff to ensure the best experience possible, and are always willing to help with special school and district events! Thank you all for your dedication to our district and representing 312 so well!

A reminder, summer S & C begins tomorrow, Monday, June 2nd at 6:50 a.m. in the MS gym. Come in through the HS gym lobby. If you want to purchase protein bars, bring $10 for 2 boxes. Workouts will conclude around 8:15 and for the month of June, we will hold workouts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Reminder- High School Boys basketball camp tomorrow in MS gym from 8:30-10:30. Middle School Boys basketball camp in grade school gym from 9-10:30.

High school boys basketball camp will run from 8:30-10:30 Monday through Thursday next week (June 2nd-5th). Cost is $25. Cash or make checks payable to Haven High.

USD 312 District Office will operate on summer hours, beginning May 27th. We will be open Monday - Thursday 7-4:30, closed on Friday.
