USD 312 Haven Schools

USD 312 Haven Schools was notified that three individuals at Haven Grade School have tested positive for COVID-19. Per our established protocol, we are thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting areas within the school facility. We are also in contact with the Reno County Health Department and will take the steps necessary to protect the health of our staff and students. The district is closely monitoring this situation and will notify families if any additional actions need to be taken in the near future. I would also share that we plan to begin our in-house testing for close contacts on Thursday morning. We plan to share details tomorrow morning with a Facebook live(9am)/website/alert system.

JV Girls Tennis at Maize South is cancelled for today. The meet will not be rescheduled.

The Cross Country Meet at Halstead today has been moved to the Halstead Middle/High School campus and the first race will now be at 4 pm. If weather continues to be an issue they may move the meet to Monday Oct. 4th.

USD 312 Haven Transportation Department is in crisis mode. We are short of drivers and may have times where we can not transport all students to and from school. We are able to train anyone to become a driver. We need both drivers with a CDL and without. This could include driving a van not a bus. Tonight's high school football game vs. Hesston will start at 6 pm. All grade school and middle school fall sports teams will be recognized starting at 5:30. All high school fall sports teams will be recognized after the first quarter or during half time. The high school volleyball scrimmage will still take place at 4:30 pm.
